In many dioceses, Good Shepherd Sunday is an opportunity to pray for vocations, to encourage those who might be considering ordained or religious life, and for each of us to ask ourselves whether the Lord might be calling us to do some definite service for him.

This Sunday March 15 we celebrate Mother's Day and wish all our mothers a lovely day celebrating.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration. Jesus takes his closest companions to a high mountain where he is transfigured before their eyes.

Candle Color: Purple. During this final week of Advent we rejoice in the endless love that God has for us, which is made apparent in the birth of his Son. We reflect on the good news of God's love brought to us from the angel Gabriel.
